Rio Meão debuts a street theatre festival today

Rio Meão hosts today the debut of a new festival dedicated to street theatre. The event will occupy the entire afternoon of the locality, running between 2:30 and 8 PM. This is the first edition of this cultural initiative, which promises to bring open-air performances to the streets of the town. The festival thus marks the creation of a new cultural reference point for the community of Rio Meão.

Nights at the Pier return to Lagos with music and art

Nights at the Pier returns to Lagos from September 4 to 6, transforming the Pier of the Discoveries and Constitution Garden into an outdoor stage with three nights of music, art and multicultural encounter. The program includes the performances "Verde mi Sangre, Rojo tus Hojas" by La Barca, "Tarab Dance" by the Afro Anatolian Tales project, and the performance of Bandua, which crosses traditional and contemporary sounds from different geographies. The event also features an ephemeral artistic installation by Nuno Pimenta, inspired by the undulation of the sea and Lagos's historical relationship with the ocean, curated by ETERNO. The performances are free admission, subject to prior ticket collection.
