The Popular Party (PP), as the leading opposition force, works throughout an entire legislative term to democratically overthrow the Government, seeking its fragilities. The political course is about to end.

In this context, the populares believe they have found the greatest weakness of Pedro Sánchez's Executive in the Ceuta migration crisis, which exploded during the summer in a completely unexpected way.

The Ceuta crisis thus became the PP's great final weapon against Sánchez, providing the opposition with the opportunity it sought to attack the government.
