The Festivities in Honor of Our Lady of Soledade, traditional in Porto Covo, end this Sunday, August 30. The village of Porto Covo belongs to the municipality of Sines, in the district of Setúbal.

The closing of the festivities features the performance of Emanuel and Tânia, who take the stage for the final concert of this year's edition. The event celebrates the local patron saint, Our Lady of Soledade.

Faro hosts "Art" with Nuno Lopes, Cristovão Campos and Rui Melo in October

The play "Arte" by Yasmina Reza, which sold out for five months in Lisbon and visited Porto, continues on a national tour and arrives in Faro on October 22 and 23. Directed by António Pires, it stars Cristovão Campos, Nuno Lopes and Rui Melo. The play follows three friends whose relationship is tested when one of them buys a totally white painting by a famous contemporary artist, exploring themes such as conflict, empathy and the subjectivity of taste. The tour began in Penafiel and covers dozens of Portuguese cities until December.
