Was it really a Lauryn Hill concert? At Meo Kalorama, there were Fugees, two 'nepo babies' and even a 'Hips Don't Lie' without Shakira

Lauryn Hill took to the Meo Kalorama stage for a concert that promised to be a celebration of the songs that transformed her into a timeless icon, but the experience ended up being different from expected. Contrary to the worst expectations, the artist wasn't very late, but the expectation of a show focused on her most recognized work didn't materialize as expected.

The concert included a celebration of the 30th anniversary of the Fugees, the group that launched Lauryn Hill to stardom, which was received positively by the audience. This reference to the Fugees represented one of the most welcome moments of the night, remembering the historical importance of her career.

However, the night also included performances that were considered dispensable, including showcases of Lauryn Hill's children and of Wyclef Jean, her former colleague in the Fugees. These performances took time away from the main show.

Among the most curious moments of the night was a version of "Hips Don't Lie," Shakira's famous song, performed without the Colombian artist's presence. The choice of this song, normally associated with Shakira, generated surprise among the spectators present at Meo Kalorama.
