Portuguese international Rafael Leão is in Istanbul to join Galatasaray, the reigning Turkish champion.
The forward, who was a free agent after his contract with AC Milan ended, is in advanced negotiations with the Turkish club.
Leão was seen celebrating Galatasaray's victory on the pitch of the stadium, already demonstrating a strong identification with the team. Dressed to the nines for the occasion, the Portuguese showed enthusiasm about the possibility of wearing the jersey of the Istanbul club.
This transfer comes at a time when Rafael Leão was seeking a new sporting challenge after a season in Italian football. Galatasaray, which already has other Portuguese internationals in its squad, intends to strengthen its attack with the quality of the former Lille and Sporting player.
