ADCE Diogo Cão won the 1st edition of the Transmontana U-17 Football Cup by defeating FC Mãe d'Água 2-1 in the final played this afternoon. The Vila Real team secured the title in a closely contested match that ended in their favor.
The decisive match took place at Estádio Eng. José Aires, located in Torre de Moncorvo, which hosted the final of this new competition for under-17 players from the Transmontana region. The neutral venue provided equal conditions for both teams.
With this victory, ADCE Diogo Cão concludes their participation in the first edition of this regional cup with the main trophy, while FC Mãe d'Água finished in second place. The competition marks a milestone in youth football in the Trás-os-Montes region.
