FC Porto defeated Académico de Viseu 3-0 today in a fourth-round match of the Portuguese I Liga football championship. The match took place in Viseu and all three goals were scored in the first half, allowing the dragões to add another comfortable victory.
André Silva opened the scoring at five minutes, followed by Gabri Veiga at 20 minutes and William Gomes at 38 minutes, setting the final score at 3-0 for the Porto side.
With this result, FC Porto remains alone at the top of the Portuguese championship, with 12 points in four games, that is, a perfect record of wins since the start of the season.
Académico de Viseu, in turn, continues with only two points in the championship, resulting from two away draws against Benfica and Marítimo, both with a 2-2 result, as well as two defeats suffered so far.
