Forbes has created a new ranking called "America's Most Innovative Large Companies", with the aim of distinguishing companies that continue to transform their businesses and their respective sectors of activity.

The list includes 100 companies and uses more than a dozen objective criteria to evaluate each company's actual innovation, thus ensuring a well-founded and measurable analysis.

This new ranking comes as part of a special edition called "TOP of the WEEK", which highlights seven news stories that should not be forgotten, covering topics such as innovation, luxury and new protagonists in the business sector.

Centro Infantil Maria de Monserrate, in Lisbon, became the world's first creche to implement a four-day week, maintaining Monday to Friday operation for children.
