A child was forced to remove the FC Porto shirt to be able to enter the Fontelo Stadium, in Viseu, during the match between Académico de Viseu and FC Porto for the Portuguese Cup. Hundreds of Porto fans faced difficulties accessing the venue, as they possessed items related to the blue and white club, as well as tickets that did not correspond to the sector they intended to visit, creating tense situations at the stadium entrance.
Luís Silva, captain of Académico de Viseu, did not comment on the refereeing after the home defeat 3-0 against FC Porto, but criticized the team's lack of aggressiveness. The central defender stated that the team "should have five points," suggesting that the results do not reflect the true performance of the Viseu side. Académico Viseu remains in the relegation zone of the league standings.
Gabri Veiga, Spanish player, commented on the assist he made for William during a match, highlighting that he didn't hear nor did he know that the Brazilian was positioned to receive the ball.
