Pogacar has traumatic brain injury, multiple bruises and possible collarbone fracture

Slovenian cyclist Tadej Pogacar suffered an accident during a race and was diagnosed with traumatic brain injury, multiple bruises and a possible collarbone fracture. Álvaro Ortiz, one of the doctors at the race, was the one who attended to the rider at the scene of the incident.

Pogacar will still need to undergo additional medical tests to determine in greater detail the extent of the injuries suffered. So far, no further information has been revealed about the exact circumstances of the accident.

The rider's health condition continues to be monitored by the medical team, which is waiting for the results of the additional tests to define the next steps in treatment.
