Genetic diversity is declining at an unprecedented rate, but there are glimmers of hope

In the most complete global analysis carried out to date, an international team of scientists concluded that the genetic diversity of wild species populations is being lost worldwide at an unprecedented rate. This research represents a milestone in understanding biodiversity globally.
