The President of Cabo Verde, José Maria Neves, reiterated his position on the need for profound reform of the African Union. The position was expressed during the summit being held in Angola.

The Cabo Verdean President has been advocating that the continental organization needs significant structural changes to better respond to the challenges facing the continent.
