On Friday, Nepal's tourism authority set the number of tourists still unaccounted for at 622, of which 473 are foreigners. Nepal is facing deadly floods that have caused this emergency situation.

Authorities confirmed that hundreds of people remain missing following the floods that affected the country. Most of the missing are foreign tourists.

Nepal's tourism authority is coordinating efforts to locate the missing tourists. The high number of foreigners among the missing reflects Nepal's popularity as an international tourist destination.
