PSP explains circumstances of accident caused by driver who disregarded stop order in Alcântara

The Public Security Police clarified the circumstances of a road accident that occurred this Saturday in Alcântara, in the Belém Tower area. The incident was caused by a driver who disobeyed a stop order issued by police authorities, fleeing from the PSP's intervention.

After disobeying the stop order, the driver caused the vehicle to spin out, resulting in an accident on the public roads of the area. Authorities moved to the scene to provide assistance to the victims of the accident.

Three victims were assisted at the scene of the accident by emergency services. After first aid was provided, the three victims were transported to Santa Maria Hospital to receive additional medical care.

The PSP proceeded with the investigation of the accident and provided clarification on the circumstances in which it occurred, confirming that the driver's behavior in not respecting the stop order was the direct cause of the accident.
