The Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan (PMUS) of Leiria is generating controversy. Ricardo Charters d'Azevedo wrote an open letter addressed to the technical team responsible for the plan.
In the letter, Charters d'Azevedo suggests that the technical team rewrite the PMUS document. The businessman considers that the current document benefits large retail in an overly evident manner.
The author of the open letter also criticizes the insistence on a solution that, according to him, is already 10 years old. Charters d'Azevedo argues that it makes no sense to continue promoting an outdated approach to the city's urban mobility.
