CELORICO DA BEIRA: Ecomercado promotes local products, sustainability and traditions

Largo do Tribunal, in Celorico da Beira, received on Saturday, August 29, another edition of Ecomercado – Agroecology for All. The event took place during a morning dedicated to the promotion of local products, sustainability and the enhancement of the knowledge and traditions of the communities of the municipality.

The initiative was promoted by the Municipality of Celorico da Beira, in partnership with other entities, in an organization that aimed to boost local trade and bring together producers and consumers in the region.

Ecomercado's main focus is agroecology, seeking to offer access to locally sourced products from a sustainable and conscious consumption perspective. This edition brought together producers and artisans from the region, showcasing the diversity of the Celorico territory.

The initiative is part of a broader strategy to enhance the interior and rural communities, seeking to preserve and disseminate local traditions through economic and cultural activities that involve the population of the municipality.
