Portuguese Cup: Three teams from Viseu in action in the 1st eliminator

Three teams from the Viseu district enter competition in the first eliminator of the Portuguese Cup of football this Sunday. Cinfães hosts Sporting de Espinho on their own ground, while Mortágua visits Sporting da Covilhã. Penalva do Castelo travels to Oliveirense's ground to face the home team.

The teams Lamelas and Castro Daire were exempted from the inaugural round of the competition, with no need for their presentation at this initial stage of the Portuguese Cup.

The edition of this season of the Portuguese Cup of football thus kicks off with several matches involving teams from the Viseu district, providing local clubs with the opportunity to compete in the main knockout competition of Portuguese football.
