The Chega party threatened to advance with a motion of censure against the Government, as announced by MP Bruno Nunes on SIC Notícias. The party's parliamentary bench intends to formally present the motion of censure.

Bruno Nunes made harsh criticisms of the conduct of the Minister of Internal Administration, Luís Neves. According to the MP, Luís Neves is "irresponsible and thinks he owns all of this", in reference to his political conduct.

The motion of censure comes as a result of a succession of controversial cases associated with Luís Neves. These cases date back to the period when he held the position of national director of the Judicial Police, before assuming the ministerial portfolio.
