Narana Coissoró, former CDS-PP leader, died today at the age of 94. The information was confirmed to the Lua agency by an official party source.
Coissoró was Vice President of the Assembly of the Republic between 1999 and 2005, a period during which he held a prominent position in Portuguese political life.
Throughout his political career, he also served as a member of parliament for CDS in several legislatures, accumulating extensive parliamentary experience in service of the Christian democratic party.
