PENEDONO: Volunteer firefighters will receive new forest firefighting vehicle

The Humanitarian Association of Voluntary Firefighters of the Municipality of Penedono is among the 23 firefighting corporations in the North Region that will benefit from financial support for the acquisition of a new Forest Firefighting Vehicle. This support was provided by CCDR Norte, which signed the contracts with the associations involved.

The signing ceremony took place on August 27 in Penafiel. A total of 23 financial support contracts were signed with various Humanitarian Firefighter Associations in the region.

This investment is part of an effort to strengthen forest firefighting resources in northern Portugal, allowing corporations to update their fleets with specialized vehicles for this type of incident.
