The Anadia City Council approved the increase in the value of study grants for higher education students to 1,200 euros annually, for the 2026/2027 school year. The decision was made by the municipal executive at the Thursday meeting, on the 27th, under the General Regulation of Social Action of the Municipality of Anadia, maintaining the allocation of 50 study grants.

The support consists of an annual non-reimbursable payment of 1,200 euros intended for students enrolled or registered in approved courses that confer the degrees of higher professional technician, bachelor's degree, or master's degree, at public or private educational institutions in Portugal.

Applications run from September 21 to October 9, through a request accompanied by the required documentation. Requests can be sent by email to [email protected] or delivered in person at the Social Action Service of the Anadia City Council.

The council explained that this support reinforces the commitment of the Municipality of Anadia to equal opportunities in access to and attendance of higher education, contributing to minimize the expenses borne by families.
