The Criminal Investigation Unit of Portimão of the GNR arrested ten men on suspicion of smuggling in the municipality of Vila do Bispo, in the Algarve.
The arrests resulted from movements considered suspicious that were detected by the military during surveillance operations.
After identifying the suspicious movements, the GNR elements approached two light goods vehicles.
The ten men were arrested as part of this anti-smuggling operation.
