«Ativa Campelo» wins Youth Participatory Budget in Baião with 62.92% of votes

The project «Ativa Campelo» was chosen by the youth of Baião as the winner of the Youth Participatory Budget (OPJ) 2026, obtaining 62.92% of valid votes in the voting held between the 22nd of an unspecified month and the final voting period.

The winning project was selected through a vote involving young people residing in the municipality of Baião, demonstrating the active participation of the young community in decisions regarding the allocation of public resources for local initiatives.

The Youth Participatory Budget is a participatory democracy instrument that allows municipality youth to propose and vote on projects they consider important for their community, encouraging civic involvement and participation in local public life.

With this victory, the project «Ativa Campelo» is expected to be implemented as part of the initiatives planned for the year 2026, representing one of the priorities chosen by the youth of Baião for development in the municipality.
