Intercolegial anticipates and expands beach volleyball competition

Beach volleyball gains space in the 44th edition of Intercolegial O GLOBO/Sesc, starting today at Sesc Nova Iguaçu, beginning with the under-18 women's category with ten matches. Tomorrow will be the men's turn, also with ten games. The competition, restricted to the under-18 category, will have five more matches than in the previous edition, totaling 20 confrontations. Traditionally held in November, the tournament was moved up to August at the request of teachers from participating schools, aiming to take advantage of milder temperatures and provide better conditions for athletes, coaching staff, and the public.
