The Syros Cats project opened applications for volunteers who want to care for cats on the island of Syros, located in the Cyclades archipelago, in Greece. The offer provides free housing and breakfast in exchange for work caring for cats. Applications are for stays during the year 2027 and will open in two phases: starting September 1st for the first half of the year (January to June) and on November 1st for the second half (July to December). Participants act as volunteers and must stay on the island for at least one month. Syros Cats provides the accommodation and morning meal, but does not offer payment to those selected.
