After Flavio Bolsonaro's (PL) dinner with financial market names on Thursday in São Paulo, President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva will gather a restricted group of GDP representatives on Monday in Brasília. The information was revealed by CNN and confirmed by GLOBO.
Among those invited were Joesley and Wesley Batista, from J&F, José Seripieri Júnior, owner of Amil, and Rubens Ometto, from Cosan. The initial idea was to hold the dinner with the businessmen at the Alvorada Palace, but members of the campaign are looking for another location to avoid the risk of electoral complaints by an adversary accusing the use of public property for a campaign activity.
The meeting had already been scheduled for days. Therefore, members of the incumbent's reelection campaign deny that the dinner was organized to give a response to Flavio's meeting.
Columnist Bela Megale reported that Lula signaled to allies that he would change his posture regarding bankers.
