Senator Flavio Bolsonaro (PL) is the fifth presidential candidate interviewed by TV Globo this week. He was the guest this Friday, with the interview starting at 9:30 PM. The interview series began on Monday with former Minas Gerais governor Romeu Zema (Novo), followed by former Goias governor Ronaldo Caiado (PSD), businessman Renan Santos (Missao), and President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva (PT).
In the Quaest poll released in mid-August, Flavio appeared technically tied with President Lula in the runoff simulation. The survey shows the leftist at 43%, against 40% for Jair Bolsonaro's son. The data indicates the trend of a tight election, decided vote by vote.
The result brings a return to the level prior to the "Dark horse" case, when, in mid-May, the link between Flavio and banker Daniel Vorcaro, from Master, was revealed. After that revelation, Lula managed to open an eight-point gap over his opponent.
