Matosinhos. 40 million euro loan for affordable housing

The Matosinhos City Council approved a 40 million euro loan for the construction of affordable housing. The council decided to proceed with the financing without waiting for the intervention of the Government led by PSD and CDS-PP.

The mayor, Luísa Salgueiro, guarantees that more than 20 million euros will be recovered from the State, which significantly reduces the effective cost of the investment for the municipality.

The new housing should be completed within 3 to 4 years, representing a significant investment for the Matosinhos territory in the housing sector.
