New Photography Experimentation Centre Focuses on Culture in Foz do Arelho

The Photography Experimentation Centre opened in Foz do Arelho, in Caldas da Rainha, born from the Casa-Museu Jaime Umbelino. The opening of the new space was framed by the F/262 festival, running until September 20.

The project aims to help the public understand the evolution of photography over time. It intends to be more than a space dedicated to photography, aspiring to function as a mini cultural centre in the town of Caldas da Rainha.

The F/262 festival thus serves as the impetus for the launch of this new cultural space, bringing together the museological tradition of Casa-Museu Jaime Umbelino with a more experimental and dynamic offering for the local community.
