Bobadela Roman Ruins Interpretive Centre Reaches 50,000 Visitors

The Bobadela Roman Ruins Interpretive Centre reached the milestone of 50,000 visitors this Thursday, August 28, since its reopening in April 2018. The milestone was achieved almost five years after the space reopened to the public.

The number is pointed out by the Municipality of Oliveira do Hospital as a sign of the consolidation of that space as one of the main cultural facilities for enhancing heritage. The local authority recognized the importance of this number for the region.

The Interpretive Centre is located in Bobadela, in the municipality of Oliveira do Hospital, and is dedicated to the enhancement of the Roman ruins in the area. This cultural facility has been attracting visitors interested in the historical heritage of the region.
