Dozens of Israeli settlers attacked the Palestinian village of Qusra in the northern occupied West Bank on Saturday, the Israeli military and a local resident reported. The attack occurred after nearly three weeks of escalating tensions in the area.

In early August, a group of settlers began blocking access to the village, located near the city of Nablus, and besieging its residents. The settlers' actions drew condemnation both nationally and internationally.

Israeli forces positioned in the area continue to operate at the scene. Violence involving Israeli settlers has been intensifying in the region over the past month, according to reports.
