Photos of Lula with lobbyist were taken at public events before inauguration

The photos of President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva alongside lobbyist Roberta Luchsinger that went viral on social media after his interview on Jornal Nacional are not recent. The images were published by the businesswoman herself at different moments and show encounters that occurred before Lula's inauguration on January 1, 2023.

Among the records is a photograph in which Lula and Roberta appear wearing protective masks against Covid-19, taken on December 19, 2021. The image predates the 2022 electoral campaign and the president's current term.

There are also two photographs from an event held on May 1, 2022. The images were originally taken on that date and later republished by Roberta on her social media on different occasions.

The photos began circulating after Lula's interview on Jornal Nacional, in which he spoke about his wife's alleged involvement with the lobbyist, which generated controversy on social networks.
