The Constitutional Court decided that the return law, which establishes rules for the return of children wrongfully retained abroad, contains relevant guarantees that protect the best interests of children.
The decision was made unanimously by seven judges, out of a total of 13 judges on the court.
The judges who approved the ruling considered that the legislation in question provides several guarantees that ensure the protection of the minors involved in these proceedings.
