'Worst of the Bolsonaros', 'Son of Brazil': Free electoral propaganda starts this Friday (28th)

cbn28 August 2026 at 21:52

Free electoral propaganda started this Friday on radio and television, with short insertions from presidential candidates, lasting between 30 seconds and one minute, aired throughout the programming.

President Lula, the candidate for re-election by PT, adopted a strategy based on a negative resume of the main adversary, Senator Flavio Bolsonaro. The PT campaign calls Flavio "the worst of the Bolsonaros."

The advertising piece links the candidate to the rachadinhas case, Banco Master, and an episode involving hired killers. The video presents the accusations as part of a record against the senator, mentioning that he started his career as a ghost employee of a senator in Brasília.

The propaganda also mentions that he was accused of money laundering and criminal organization in the rachadinha scandal, that he allegedly praised the leader of the largest group of hired killers in Rio de Janeiro, and that he was caught by the Federal Police asking for 134 million.
