A weather forecast has been published for August 29 to September 1, 2026, covering the municipalities of Mafra, Sintra, Torres Vedras, Lisbon, Ericeira and Santa Cruz.

On Saturday, August 29, the weather varies between clear skies in Sintra, Torres Vedras and Lisbon, with temperatures between 15º/26º, and partly cloudy skies in Mafra, Ericeira and Santa Cruz, with temperatures between 15º/24º. The wind will be moderate, predominantly from the Northwest on the coast and from the North inland.

On Sunday, August 30, partly cloudy skies are forecast for all regions, with an increase in maximum temperatures, especially in Lisbon, Torres Vedras and Ericeira, where they may reach 27º to 28º. The wind remains moderate, alternating between Northwest and North.

From Monday, August 31, to Tuesday, September 1, the sky returns to being partly cloudy in most regions, with temperatures gradually decreasing. Torres Vedras has the highest temperatures, between 16º/24º on Tuesday, while the lowest minimum temperatures are recorded in Mafra and Torres Vedras, with 15º on Monday.

The Portuguese Institute for the Sea and Atmosphere has not issued any weather warnings for the Lisbon district during this period.

A depression located north of the Azores will bring intense rain and strong wind to the archipelago during the last weekend of August and beginning of next week, with the island of Flores potentially accumulating up to 24 millimeters of precipitation. The rain will start in the Western Group (Flores and Corvo) on Saturday, then advancing to the Central Group and potentially to São Miguel on Sunday. Wind could exceed 40 km/h on Monday. In Madeira, rainfall will be light and concentrated on the north-facing slopes and mountainous regions, with reduced accumulated amounts between 0.3 and 0.4 millimeters. Maximum temperatures in the Azores should vary between 24 and 29°C, while in Madeira they will reach 26-27°C.
