PT presidential candidate Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva was interviewed on Thursday (27) by Globo, in a questioning conducted by journalists Renata Vasconcellos and César Tralli directly from Globo Studios, in Rio de Janeiro.

The interview is part of a series of questionings with the six best-placed candidates in the voting intention poll released by Quaest on August 14. This was the first time that questionings with aspiring candidates for the Presidential Palace were aired after the "Jornal Nacional", and not during the news program.

The order of the interviews was defined by draw, with the presence of party representatives. According to the schedule, previous interviews were held with Romeu Zema (Novo) on August 24, Ronaldo Caiado (PSD) on August 25, and Renan Santos (Missão) on August 26. After the questioning with Lula, interviews were planned with Flávio Bolsonaro (PL) on August 28.

The report presents a fact-check (FACT) and falsehoods (FAKE) declared by Lula during the interview, analyzing the statements made by the candidate during the questioning.
