Coimbra Library Promotes Cultural September for All Ages

The Municipal Library of Coimbra is promoting a cultural program dedicated to the month of September, with activities aimed at all ages, including the youngest ones.

Among the highlighted initiatives are the events "Tales with Spiders" and "Magical Holidays," which aim to encourage a love of reading and culture among children and young people.

The cultural September program is part of a strategy by the library to bring the community closer to cultural and literary activities, especially during the back-to-school period.

These initiatives aim to offer educational and cultural entertainment alternatives for families during the month of September.

The Sesc Literature Prize announced the winners of the 2026 edition, which registered a historic record of registrations with 2,969 competing works.
