This interruption is due to the construction works for the duplication and upgrading of the IP3 section. The intervention covers the current road platform of this route, which extends between Santa Comba Dão and Viseu, over a total length of 27.5 kilometres. Leiria has already analyzed 10,807 applications for support to recover houses damaged by bad weather

The municipality of Leiria announced the completion of the analysis of 10,807 applications for support to recover homes damaged by storm Kristin, totaling 69.7 million euros. Seven months after the storm passed, 10,735 requests have already been processed by CCDR Centro, with 7,694 payments made and 310 approvals pending, while 2,731 applications were rejected. Of the 37.3 million already paid, 39.5 million have been validated by the local authority, which invested 813 thousand euros in the operation. Leiria accounts for 30% of national applications, with 70 municipal workers and 107 external technicians involved, 6,070 inspections carried out, and 4,378 in-person attendances completed.
