The 22nd edition of the Miss Quebramar Cup, a women's surf and bodyboard competition organized by the Surf Association of Aveiro, was not exclusive to elite surfers. The event also included a solidarity component aimed at mothers and children in situations of social risk.
The residents of Lar do Divino Salvador had the opportunity to participate in the initiative, hitting the waves with surfboards provided for this purpose. This action allowed vulnerable people to experience surfing in the context of the competition.
The competition, which celebrates its twenty-second year, is dedicated exclusively to the female audience and promotes the inclusion of disadvantaged groups annually, combining sport with social responsibility actions.
