The Judicial Police, through the Criminal Investigation Department of Guarda, arrested yesterday in the act a man suspected of drug trafficking. The arrest resulted from surveillance and prevention actions carried out by the authorities.
The suspect was intercepted at the door of his home, when he was preparing to sell hashish pollen in nightlife venues in the region. The man ended up authorizing a home search.
The individual was brought before the competent judicial authorities for the application of coercive measures. The authorities are not ruling out the possibility of other suspects being involved in the criminal activity.
