Preventive prison for one of six drug trafficking suspects in Sintra

One of the six drug trafficking suspects in Sintra was placed in preventive detention. The six suspects, aged between 21 and 44, were detained on Thursday by the Judicial Police.

The detention occurred after nine house searches carried out under the investigation. The authorities continue to investigate the case to determine all circumstances of the alleged drug trafficking.

The searches were carried out in Sintra, the locality where the suspects were identified and detained by the authorities. The suspect placed in preventive detention will await trial while legal proceedings are ongoing.
