The institution suggests that this working group allow for a more rigorous monitoring of sick leave situations, aiming for a more efficient management of resources in the region.

The proposal arises in the context of concerns regarding the impact of sick leave on economic activity and public services in the Azores.

By suggesting this measure, the Chamber of Commerce aims to contribute to greater oversight and transparency in the process of granting and maintaining sick leave in the region.
