Apple: behind the scenes of Cook's departure and the new Ternus era

Apple held a private party at Apple Park to celebrate Tim Cook's departure as CEO after 15 years leading the company. The event marked the end of an era for the tech giant, which Cook led since 2011, succeeding Steve Jobs.

John Ternus is the chosen successor to take over leadership of Apple starting September 1st. Ternus already held top positions in the company, having been responsible for various hardware divisions.

Ternus's new era brings significant challenges ahead, particularly in the field of artificial intelligence, where Apple has been seeking to regain ground against the competition. Additionally, foldable devices represent another strategic area for the company's future.

With this transition, Apple closes a fundamental chapter in its history and begins a new phase under different leadership, at a time when the technology sector is undergoing profound transformations.
