Search for young person who disappeared at Ursa Beach

A 26-year-old young man is missing at Ursa Beach, in Sintra. The alert was given by tourists who were in the vicinity, at around 11:50.

The young man was swimming with a group of friends when he got into difficulty in the surf zone and was dragged by the force of the waves.

Authorities were dispatched to the scene and are coordinating search and rescue operations to try to locate the missing young man.
