The Castelló City Council will improve Cronista Muntaner street with the expansion of this road, allowing the entire length of the street to be leveled. The Official Gazette of the Valencian Community (DOGV) published on Friday the last procedure corresponding to the necessary expropriations to obtain the land.
This municipal management will allow correcting the narrowings that the street has had until now. The work will further improve this area near the Renfe station, which has several parking areas.
The third phase of the works will begin soon, which will include a new parking lot and a change of image next to the railway building. Currently there is a vacant dirt lot that turns into mud when it rains.
This phase will add 135 parking spaces and complete the transformation of the surroundings of Castellfort street and Wien Passage, with new roadways, pedestrian areas, tree planting and sustainable drainage systems.
