Criminals were filmed stealing the earrings of a woman who was a victim of the sudden and historic flood that devastated this week the Nepal-Tibet border region. Madan Gurung, 25, and his accomplice Umesh Chaudhary, 38, were arrested on Thursday after a video recording the crime went viral. The woman had been swept away by the Narayani River current during Wednesday's flood — likely caused by a glacier collapse — which killed more than 540 people. Videos released by Nepal police show the men using logs to bring the woman's body to the bank before Gurung ripped off her earrings.
