Anadia: Scholarships for higher education updated by 200 euros

NotíciasdeAveiro.pt28 August 2026 at 15:53

The Municipality of Anadia will increase the value of scholarships for higher education students to 1,200 euros per approved application, 200 euros more than the previous amount. The decision was made by the municipal executive at its last meeting, under the General Social Action Regulation of the Municipality of Anadia.

Fifty scholarships will be awarded, maintaining the same number as in previous years. These scholarships are intended to support students and their families in sharing the expenses associated with attending higher education.

The application period runs from September 21 to October 9. Students enrolled or registered in higher education for courses that confer academic degrees of higher professional technician, bachelor's degree, or master's degree, offered at public or private institutions in Portugal, may apply.

The funds are granted as non-repayable aid to contribute towards the costs of attending a course. With this measure, the municipality of Anadia aims to reinforce its commitment to equal opportunities in access to and attendance of higher education, helping to reduce the financial burden on families.

  • Um benefício monetário elegível para estudantes que estejam matriculados ou inscritos no ensino superior para frequência de cursos, devidamente homologados, que confiram os graus académicos de técnico superior profissional, licenciatura ou mestrado, ministrados em estabelecimentos de ensino públicos ou privados, em Portugal;
