Can AI replace composers? Expert explains the limits of technology in music

Artificial intelligence has advanced significantly in the field of artistic creation, altering processes that previously depended exclusively on human work. Singer Junior addressed this impact during the #PapoDeSegunda program, reflecting on the paths of music in the face of tools capable of generating texts, images, sounds, and different formats in a few minutes.

The discussion raised in the program revolves around a question that is gaining more and more space among artists and music industry professionals: to what extent is it possible to incorporate these resources without diluting the identity of the creator.

Gabriel Nascimento, co-founder and executive director of Novelo Produções, radio broadcaster, and postgraduate in Art Direction for Advertising, participated in the conversation offering his perspective on the topic. For him, technology should be understood as an ally in executing certain tasks, and not as a substitute for human work.

The article suggests that the music industry now faces the challenge of finding a balance between the use of new tools and the preservation of the authenticity and identity of artists in their creative processes.

Do you have a driver's license? You can now check this data and see if you have fines to pay (without leaving home)

The Driver's Portal, available on the gov.pt portal, allows Portuguese drivers to consult online information about their driver's license, including the number of available points, history of violations, and fines to pay. Access is done through the Digital Mobile Key or Citizen Card and is free. The Portuguese system assigns 12 initial points, with losses of 2 to 6 points depending on the severity of the offense. When 4 or 5 points remain, road safety training is mandatory; with 1 to 3 points, the theoretical test must be repeated; and with zero points, the driver loses their license for two years. Minor parking violations must be checked with the respective municipality.
