Catarina Martins demands transparency from UC regarding the future of university repúblicas

Catarina Martins, a Bloco de Esquerda MEP, criticized the University of Coimbra's actions regarding the university repúblicas. During a visit to the República Maria dos Loureiros, the left-wing leader argued that students should not be forced to leave these spaces without the reports and plans supporting this decision being made public. Catarina Martins demands transparency from the university about the future of these student housing facilities. The visit took place on a Friday, when the MEP went to the space to learn about the situation and show support for the affected students.

Extraordinary and temporary support for cooperatives now in effect
