The National Union of Bank Clerical and Technical Staff (SNQTB) intends to transform a recently launched petition in defense of bank workers' pensions into a Citizens' Legislative Initiative. The union intends to submit this initiative to the Parliament "very soon". The petition in question was launched to defend the rights related to the pensions of bank workers. This decision represents a significant step in the union struggle to guarantee the protection of pensions for professionals in the banking sector in Portugal.
